This is a real crime advisory from my University…
On May 2, 2012, at approximately 11:30 pm, an unknown male subject approached two students in a vehicle at 909 S. University Street. The male subject knocked on the driver side window of the vehicle and asked to speak with the driver. After the driver exited the car, the suspect demanded the driver turn over his wallet. The driver gave the suspect his wallet and the suspect fled on foot. While running away from the scene, the suspect dropped the wallet. The driver was able to retrieve his wallet and found nothing missing from the wallet.
